New documentary about the recording of Nora’s Ark cast album is now available. It is called Nora’s Ark, Enriching Children with Jazz.
A documentary chronicling the recording of a cast album and production CD for Nora’s Ark, a Jazz Musical by Eli Yamin and Clifford Carlson of The Jazz Drama Program. The film also traces the journey of how the jazz musical was developed and how exposure to jazz in a theatrical way impacts children’s lives. The music was recorded at Avatar Studios in New York and features the singers from The Brooklyn Youth Chorus. The video was written by Kirk Imamura, edited by Michael Farkas, directed by Jason Scadron and produced by Avatar Studios.
