August 2008
The Eli Yamin Ensemble: Jazz Stories from India and America
The Jazz Drama Program is sponsoring The Eli Yamin Quartet to travel to India in partnership with the United States Department of State and local musicians to give concerts and workshops in a cross-cultural celebration.

June 2008
The Jazz Drama Program collaborated with Newark’s Integrity Choir and the Barat Foundation in a performance that raised money for arts programming for youth at risk. The highlight of the performance was a rousing rendition of Healing Song from the jazz musical, Message From Saturn, by Eli Yamin and Clifford Carlson sung by the choir and Eli’s jazz quartet.

Spring 2007
The Jazz Drama Program’s Eli Yamin was commissioned by WBGO Radio to create JazzPlayPlayJazz, an original jazz play with classic music to tour Newark Schools. The program toured eight schools and is now being offered to schools all over New Jersey.
